EYE is a mixed bag! Our membership has included a graphic designer, a cartoonist, a print-maker, an art teacher, an art historian, and more. The concept behind EYE is this: a group of talented visual artists show up and paint — no theme, no plans, no limitations — in front of a live audience. We often work to the sounds of live music.
This scheme has worked beautifully for several years! We have painted very large murals, we have painted on refrigerators, we have painted on clothes — while they were on people! We even painted a design for a garbage truck! Our performances have taken place in museums and coffee shops, at private parties, and in the great outside.
I love EYE.
